Medical Billing & Coding Specialist (On-Site) - West Palm Beach, FL

Ultimate Staffing Services is seeking a skilled Medical Biller & Coder to join our client's healthcare team in West Palm Beach, Florida. This is a 100% in-office role, Monday-Friday, offering a stable work environment with traditional business hours. The client is actively interviewing and hiring immediately.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare and submit medical billing data and insurance claims.
  • Verify and maintain accurate patient medical information.
  • Generate bills, invoices, and documentation for medical procedures and services.
  • Review and manage referrals, pre-authorizations, and supporting documents.
  • Track, monitor, and record late payments in billing systems.
  • Follow up on missed or denied payments and resolve financial discrepancies.
  • Audit patient bills for accuracy and obtain missing information as needed.
  • Investigate, correct, and appeal denied insurance claims.
  • Assist patients with payment plans and financial understanding.
  • Maintain and update billing software, rate changes, spreadsheets, and collection reports.

Requirements

  • Previous experience as a Medical Biller, Medical Coder, or Billing Specialist.
  • Hands-on experience with medical billing software and standard procedures.
  • Strong knowledge of insurance rules, including HMO/PPO, Medicare, and Medicaid.
  • High attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Strong communication and organizational abilities.
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
